	A demo recorded in January of 2002. Written immediately after 9-11, the narrative, set to a churning backbeat (ala Dan Frank's buoyant drum groove) revolves around the patrons of a roadside diner. The scene unfolds as they watch the news in horror and disbelief while reflecting about their own lives, as we all did on that violent day in American history. A lyrically masterful tale in which Russell's word play serves as a simple reminder to take note of what's truly important in "our lives and numbered days". Filled with his critically praised cinematic imagery, it is easily one of WR's finest songs to date.
