	Story Behind the Song I (mike) came up with the main riff and just shot it out at practice and it grooved hard.. so we worked it and in a couple of practices we had the skeleton of the song finished. We had a different singer at the time because i wanted to play and expirement more with my guitar playing but when it came time to record the tracks in december 2001, it did not come out like it should of. When we wanted to rework the vocals it became clear to all of us that i would have to take over the vocal duties again also. So I (mike) rewrote the lyrics as to not offend the other singer and recored all the vocals in Febury/March 2002 and it all flowed great. Don't think i just sat down and typed out the lyrics like that; because thats not the way I(mike) work. I like to come up with an issue important to me that also can relate to either our fanbase or the first time listener (the hook) you need the hook! We like to let it all hang out too but this song needed that hook. The orignal working title was :the faceless bastard son" which meant the world was born of bloodrape and would most likely burn out alot sooner then it should because of what? That is what the song is trying to figure out and of course the world goes through thoughts of anger and resentment and also submission,even wishing he was of same form that made him this way in others words it would do anything to stop it's demise.
