	Story Behind the Song This song was used by Annette in a music documentary video to promote her favorite charity--The Possible Dream Foundation--a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the care and education of medically challenged children and adults, especially those with Down syndrome. The VHS tape is available free to educators and medical personnel who would like to offer their groups more information on Down syndrome. Annette also made available a CD single of "The Reason" to help the Foundation raise cash for everyday household expenses. Currently, over 40 children and adults are cared for, with 16 of them adopted by the group's founders, Dr. Michael and Camille Geraldi. Many of these children were abandoned at birth.
