I know we haven't spoken in a while, but I wanted to write you anyhow. So how have you been? The last couple days just haven't been the same for me. Friday was another warm summer night. I was in my house, on the floor, bored again playing videogames. Mario just wasn't knocken' open blocks and smashing goombas like he used to. I put in Zelda. I didn't really feel like playing, and after letting the opening music play through the third time I decided I'd go for a drive. As I drove along another lonely desert road I saw something pretty interesting. There was this palm tree that someone had covered in a million Christmas lights, and there was no one around to see for miles. I guess it kinda made me think of you.
    CD: Robot Girlfriend...

    Lyrics
Driving all alone on a lonely desert road
I thought about you and how you said you're all alone
I saw a palm lit up with a million Christmas lights
It's glow was all alone with nothing else in sight
I rolled the window down and felt the midnight air
And at that moment you were my one and only care
You've seen the Northern lights, I've seen the Southern sights
Half plus half is whole, so shouldn't we be right?

Meg do you think about me
The same way that I think about you?
Can you still live your life
The same way I can't live without you?
    These distant conversations
    Will never, ever, really do
You know there's nothing I would
    Rather do
    Than be with you

So where do we go from here, you lead the way my dear
What was a joke at first has made itself quite clear
'Cause While you were away finally got a chance to say
I think you're beautiful in a very special way

Meg do you think about me
The same way that I think about you?
Can you still live your life
The same way I can't live without you?
    These distant conversations
    Will never, ever, really do
You know there's nothing I would
    Rather do
    Than be with you.
