	Story Behind the Song Chris wrote the tune and the chorus, Ted ad- libbed the verse in his Tufnel/Osbourne dialect (mostly an excuse to rhyme "party's over" and "Nova Scotia") and provided the scream. Paul added the spoken word, John the piano outro, Rob the extra guitar, and Tommy the drums. The original backing track was cooked up in the studio by Chris on acoustic and Rhodes. "Aliens" is really about an antidepressant/anti-anxiety drug called Effexor, which has done wonders for many but has a vicious withdrawal. A little bit of your brain dies, indeed. "Aliens" has been featured in two off Broadway shows- "Criminal Genius" and "Hurly Burly," both DDR productions. Lyrics The party's over Like Nova Scotia Ain't nuthin' landin' In my town AAAAAAAAH!
