	Story Behind the Song Inspired from the Mayan/Olmec creation myth, the God Quetzalcoatl must go into Mictlan((the underworld). He steals the bones(humans) and brings them back to the suface and life is restored on earth. I also allude to the blood debt(sacrifices) which were part of everyday life for the Mayans through the Aztecs. Fiercly misunderstood, the blood debt was to give tribute to the Gods for allowing humans to live and for the diefication of mortals to become Gods and allowing further homage (Carrasco, 1990).
