	Story Behind the Song A song inspired by Dawn and Jacob's love of Anne Rice Vampire novels, Subspecies Vampire flicks and appreciation for creatures of the night. This song was recorded in the Winter of 2000 in one night! Dawn started writing lyrics after she and Jacob decided the concept. (After a long discussion about Vampires as Dan just shook his head.)A musical compostion Dan had written was very eerie and made the perfect backdrop to the lyrics. Jacob took to the vocal booth. Dawn and Dan were in the control room debating Jacob's vocal tone. Dawn wanted morose, gregorian chant-like and Dan kept making jacob recut vocals until he got a take which was breathy and sensual. Dawn went in and recorded backups, laughter, spoken word and windchimes and Jacob went in and recorded his typical haunting harmonies. Dan then took to mixing and adding cool noises and effects.
