	Story Behind the Song Life tends to have its seasons. Winter is perhaps the most difficult, especially when it is also a season of grief or spiritual deadness. It’s my own soul’s barrenness that causes me to pursue God more deeply. Layers of faith are added as I walk in obedience, having to ignore the lack of feeling, the seeming absence of His presence. He has treasures for us in these times, and if we seek Him, He will be found! Although this song was written several years ago, it is as true today as it was then. This was a fun song to record. We recorded lead vocals and my guitar together, then added special effects, and more vocal and guitar tracks.
