	Story Behind the Song ""Chance"" Its simply a love song about truely loving someone that doesn`t know it. How many of us have been in THAT position before? This song was a very long time in the making...and actually helped "unblock" a writing freeze that Patty had for about 2 years after the Meerkatz first migrated together. Even though Steve Doss was offering a variety of great music for setting melody and lyrics into motion, Patty was very troubled about her personal ilfe, and couldn't write for nothing....After having the music for close to a year and a half with nothing to show for her song writing ability, Patty finally composed melody and lyrics that, to Steve's liking, grew into a beautiful ballad that sends couples to the dance floor everytime! Patty's faith in songwriting was restored when this song was completed. A personal note from Patty: Don't ever give up!!
