Lyrics
uh, i've overhead college students; girls, walking behind me in the cafeteria line go, "i'm going to get drunk this weekend. i mean, i'm not going to have a drink, i'm not going to have a beer, i'm going to get drunk." which is already sinful, sinful, i mean uh, it's direct intent. she's still drinking milk now, but she's already in sin by intention, you see. so uh, it's certainly, a uh, a cultural disaster.
well, it's ruined families, it's ruined marriages, it's taken lives and as you say, so many young people treat it as a socially acceptable, it's, it's a drug. you know alcohol is a drug, uh in many ways uh, in the same way that people get addicted to alcohol- i mean to uh tobacco, they get addicted to controlled substances like marijuana, um, but as you mentioned, people still have a free will, and they can chose, to get better or to never engage in this to begin with.
so the sin comes maybe repeatedly and not necessarily too many times either.
so uh, it's certainly, a uh, a cultural disaster.
so the sin comes maybe repeatedly and not necessarily too many times either.
so uh, it's certainly, a uh, a cultural disaster.
so uh, it's certianly, a uh, a cultural disaster.
he doesn't need to give a, a coherent uh, verbal arguement.
so uh, it's certianly, a uh, a cultural disaster.
he doesn't need to give a, a coherent uh, verbal arguement.
so uh, it's certianly, a uh, a cultural disaster.
i talked to one girl one time, who uh, had a little problem, she said well i really don't drink, i only drink mixed drinks. and of course mixed drinks has probably got as much booze in it as any other drink, it all depends and cheap booze too. so uh, the ignorance, uh leads to...
disaster?
...all kinds of disaster yeah.
well,it-it's ruined families, it's ruined marriages, it's taken lives and as you say, so many young people treat it as a socially acceptable, it--it's, it's a drug. you know alcohol is a drug, uh in many ways uh, in the same way that people get addicted to alcohol-- i mean to uh tobacco, they get addicted to controlled substances like marijuana, um, but as you mentioned, people still have a free will, and they can chose, to get better or to never engage in this to begin with.
