The tale of the rabbit and the snail, modern rock with a singer like "Seal". Starts out mellow but don't let it fool you.
CD: Beware Of Giants   Label: slef-released
Credits: produced by Circus of the Sun and Rich Koerner

    Story Behind the Song
This song took a little while to put together. It represents a true collabrative effort between all members of the band. This was one of the first songs we recorded for this album. It was being recorded as a demo but we spent so much time on it that it became the record. Hope you enjoy it!

    Lyrics
    Snails

only time can tell the tale
said the rabbit to the snail
you’re always making changes, for the worse...
I’ll kiss your cheek then release the curse

Only time can tell the tale.
of just what’s to come, and who will prevail
You’re watching the clock, but the hours seem to slip away.
You’re wasting your life, counting up the days

So here we sit beneath this flowering tree
I try to talk to you, but you simply ignore me
It just takes a second to stop and smell the blossoms
You’re to preoccupied with your own problems

Only time can tell the tale.
of just what’s to come, and who will prevail
You’re watching the clock, but the hours seem to slip away.
You’re wasting your life, counting up the days

    Take my hand
    and walk along the shore
    don’t you understand?
    don’t you understand?

Only time can tell the tale.
of just what’s to come, and who will prevail
You’re watching the clock, but the hours seem to slip away.
You’re wasting your life, counting up the days
    counting up the days...
    the days...
