	Story Behind the Song This song was written about my journey in dating. I always seem to get attached too quickly and the girl gets scared off or something and "jumps back into the sea". The song may sound depressing, but it was intended to be humorous... I've found it's much easier to cope with pain if I laugh it off rather than give it attention and dwell on it. Lyrics i hear it all the time they always say to me aww... don't give up there's more fish in the sea so tell me, tell me, tell me why what is wrong with me why do all the fish jump back into the sea i thought i found my catch i thought she'd be the one but as it turned out she was only in it for the fun i threw out my rod and my bait i gave up fishing for good then i thought to myself yeah right... like i really could i went out and bought a new boat i stocked it with new gear fishing was bad this time around but i still have a few years
