	Story Behind the Song I was desperate one day in my search for love. As I watched the news with so much pain I saw that people of all nations really need the same thing everywhere: Love & Tenderness. If we all just focus on that there would be peace amongst all peoples. At that time I met a language teacher who tought immigrants from all over the world basic english skills. She helped me find volunteers for my project. Several students stayed after class and sang or spoke the lyrics in their native tongue.
