	Story Behind the Song I really wanted to compose a REAL LULLABY, simple & to the point. I first expressed the piano theme on the spot. Then added the strings. During my 10 day vacation in Aruba I recorded the waves & the bird singing on my balkony at 4.00 o'clock in the morning. When i came back found the right spot on the tape & off I went with the mixing. Very flowing.Next i had Shamira sing the mermaid's song. A few years after that i took my portable digital recorder to Pensylvannia to record Yiannis Roussos' santouri for my Olympic Games tune & it dawned on me it would be great if i added a little bit of santuri on OLIVIA's LULLABY. Yiannis recorded what i asked him to play.Then I came back home &placed his part on the right spot in the song.
