Story Behind the Song
Started to make some melodies on mandola, ended up with the maintheme, then i recorded all the drums, and i really thing that they've got a great touch!. handklapping is also by me alone, so i had to record that about 16 times before it started to sound like a group of people klapping. After that I recorded the rest of the instruments. arranged the song. Wrote the Lyrics, and then finally recorded the vocals.
During this proccess i've worked with several "mixdowns" all the time, to save tracks. so at the end i had just 6 steriotracks to mix, it took some time, but on the other hand i could add as many channels as i wanted. :)
all recorded in Cubase. with a röde Nt1 through a Mindprint Di-port Instruments used;
Guitar, Mandola, jawharp, rainstick, shaker, tamburine, and some woodwinds and drums from my Korg triton.
Lyrics
bergsman rös ända in i märgen
