Story Behind the Song
A live recording of a new song. I wrote this song in response to a personal struggle I am having with those I love dying.
Lyrics
I'm as a breeze blowing; soon I'll be gone.
Just as the tides turning, the end of a song.
I hope I did it well for a time,
Made easier your climb.
Now I must move on, please don't say goodbye.
Much as the leaves turning, seasons go by,
A shift in the planets, no reason to cry.
I recall we used to dance,
At times we'd take a chance.
Just keep the good memories; don't wonder why.
If I could stop time and stay here with you,
I would but keep you from things you need to do.
Just remember all we had,
For all that time be glad.
Now I'm a distant light, forever shining true.
Requiem aternam dona eis Domine
Kyrie Eleison dona eis requiem.
Et lux perpetua,
Et lux perpetua.
Pie Jesu dona eis requiem.
