    Story Behind the Song
this song is about choices i made early on in life and the consequences that ensued.
about waling back from the brink of self destruction as if it was the only alternative to some of the choices made.
being told that things i was doing was the wrong thing to do, yet i personally could not see it.
what is right for one, may not be the same for another, we all have choices and what road we end up on in life depends on which way we turn at the many forks in the road.
this song was originally released on our first self released CD [FUJITA'S PAD] in 2000 to little fanfare. it was shelved for a year, then i decided to rework the song into what it is today.
it was re-introduced to the live audience in 2001 and became a favorite, now to be released on the new CD on our lable in 2002

    Lyrics
my peers tell me i'm doing things the wrong way, for me that's one of the way's i choose to play.
what goes up they say it must come down. don't you think that's why i left that stinking town?
all my bets are off and i'm winning. it's an enchanted life that i'm living.
don't judge me, don't race me, don't take me, don't play me, don't you give a damn what i'm saying?
    come down it's over now.
no one hears me when i'm calling, no one catches me when i'm falling.
who's to blame, who's the culprit? it's not the man standing at the pulpit.
take a look at yourself explaining. everyone around you is complaining.
    come down it's over now
