	Story Behind the Song This song was the main reason the DeadEnd Cowboys ever even formed. The song tells the truth about a longing to go back home to be around the ones who know and love us best. It has become an anthem for he band, if you will our motto. The song originated with the "Kid" while he was living in Eugene,Oregon in a state of divine inebriation and loneliness dreaming of one day playing his songs back in the great state of Texas. Finally recorded that same night in Long Beach before the southern comfort did us all in for good. It has become a crowd favorite at all of our live shows.
