Story Behind the Song
Adam came up with this tune after some reflection about the past and looking to the future. The band came up with some rhythmic ideas later on. This tune marks the beginning of a change in the band towards more upbeat, breakbeat-oriented grooves with synth effects involved. Another possible title was "Summer Girls," because at the time of the song's creation, the weather was warming up and all of the beautiful ladies of Madison started emerging from their cocoons, showing some skin. They were the summer girls.
