This is about the cheesiest song I have ever written. And that's not even adding in the fact that I wrote the entire "band" section in MIDI, so basically it sounds like Super Mario Bros. You will definitely NOT get your money's worth for this song. Also... watch out for random "Ska" references interspersed throughout the song! |

Story Behind the Song
I wrote this ska song in 10th grade for my friend, Frank Scillieri's band, "The Offbeats." Originally titled "Viviska," (heh heh... get it?) the music was hated by most of the band. Hence, they just didn't even bother trying to learn it, so I just never did anything with it.
Being that I had some free time on my hands for the summer vacation, and feeling very frustrated in coming up with new lyric ideas, I decided to rehash some old school garbage, so I decided to write some corny lyrics for this song. It was inspired by a failed attempt at a relationship I had some 6 months earlier.
Lyrics
Well I talked to this girl on the internet
She said I was the coolest guy she ever met
And she told me she wanted me real bad
Sent me a picture said she needed more
I thought about a million ways to thank Al Gore
I hoped that she'd invite me to her pad
She's the internet girl
The internet girl
She and I are living in an electronic world
Well, she's feeling cold as ice one night
And she decides that she just doesn't wanna type
She gives me a buzz on the telephone
Says she's getting tired of me, needs a little space
So I decide to drive three hours to her place
To find I would spend the whole damn night alone
She's the internet girl
The internet girl
She and I are living in an electronic world.
She's my girl
She's my girl
She's the internet girl
Yeah!
