	Story Behind the Song The song was created from the inspiration derived from a tour of the B-2 Bomber facility at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri. It took about two hours to create and was written and recorded at Videotel studios in Lompoc, California. Three or four vocal takes were required and several vocal overdubes were added by Jonathan Wild, The lead piano and keyboard overdubes were played by Tom Wilson. The lyrics, by Jonathan Wild, a vietnam Combat veteran, celebrate our freedom and our need to continue to protect it.
