	Story Behind the Song I was sitting outside last Spring (2001) waiting for it to be time to go to class (at RIT). I had a crush on a certain someone who barely knew of my existence and he had occupied a large portion of my thoughts for weeks. Writing the song, sitting outside look up at the sky, feeling breeze, gazing at the trees decked out in flowers, helped me process the infatuation and realize that I didn't have to DO anything about it. I could just enjoy it for what it was -- a fantasy -- and let it go.
