	Story Behind the Song This song was written during The Savage Rose's stay at the Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon. The palestinians welcomed Annisette and Thomas like family. The song was born out of love for the beautiful, modern and inextinguishable culture of the Palestinian people, and sadness for the ten thousands of Palestinian children who were never allowed a childhood, yet had smiles to give. We are singing for an immediate end to the occupation of Palestinian land and respect for the rights of the Palestinian people, without which there can be no happiness for the Palestinian or the Israeli people.
