    Story Behind the Song
Another song written in my teens, when I was on a Indian kick, I have always admired the wisdom the american Indians possess and hate the way they have been treated. The rythem of this song has been with me I think before I ever picked up a guitar and reminds me of running through the woods.. if reincarnation is true...then I have a pretty good idea of who I once was.
Played it for years...recorded it in a day.

    Lyrics
What kind a love braids your hair
What kind of green holds you there
Oh Indian bound and brave to the wisdom
    Thats hard in your eyes
They've seen the pain of change before
    The rage and terrorism
For more power you can't imagine
Radiation in the air on our skin
Clear cutting these trees won't make us well again
    Oh Indian in the end
    Will we be well again

    Will we be well again

Some kind of truth waits in uniform
Cause everything we do is so unsure
Oh soldier bound and brave to the decisions
    That threatens our lifes
They've seen the pain of war before
    But now we're fighting again
    Which god will win?
    Bullets through the stained glass
Dead in the steps to many demonstrators
    To many tears wept
    Oh Indian in the end
    Will we be well again

    Will we be well again

Oh children this kind of war can never lose
For its the way of men and its not yours to choose.
Missiles aimed fingers poised one touch
Will put your dreams and yor sorrows and your schemes for tomorrow in the sky.
