	Everybody Else is a up-tempo ballad addressing prejudice from the view point of one in a modern day world. This song was my very first single to major radio in 1992 and ended up being reviewed and called a "critic's choice single" by Billboard magazine. EVERYBODY ELSE has maintained a top 10 pop vocal chart position for over a 5 month period on MP3.com and in year 2000 won the first ever GLAMA, in the category of best contemporary spiritual song. I will always have a very special place in my heart for all those who must face and fight the insanity of bigotry and religious/social intolerance. I hope I never stop writing songs about it ... until it stops! LOVE is the Answer~!

	Story Behind the Song This was my very first studio single and it will always have a special place in my heart. Everybody Else first hit the air waves the morning of February 10th 1992. It had it's debut on The Barsky Show w/ Darion Hunter on Houston's TOP 40 radio station, 104 KRBE. I will never forget the moment it hit the air waves. Before they played my song . . . I was given a live interview and then they played CeCe Pennistons single, "Finally." (I have relayed this memory to her [by the way] after she opened for me at a pride show in 1997!) Anyway . . . ahem!!!! I remember thinking . . . this is it . . . the moment I have waited for my whole life! I want to tell you . . . It felt awesome! Not only was I having a dream come true, but I was also promoting a wonderful cause I believed in with all my heart! I got really sick and tired of seeing people who had AIDS treated like stray animals, so I decided to raise some cain about the issue. I formed a non profit organization called, "Project Everybody Else" and dedicated the song (first) to people suffering from AIDS and (second)) to anyone else who had to suffer from prejudice on a daily basis. It still to this day hurts me to see how petty people can be to their fellow human brothers and sisters. I say . . . love lasts longer . . . and bigotry and prejudice only leads to destruction. (Look at Hitler!) By the way that war didn't end till 1945! 55 years ago! NOT VERY LONG AGO! This was a man who exterminated millions based on prejudice and bigotry. The level of hate got so high that a whole country turned it's back while their counrty men where being slaughtered! What? No one had a voice back then?? No one spoke up and picked up a stone and threw it at the other side? History repeats it's self folks. If your prejudice is toward jews, blacks, whites, gays, other political systems, or whatever . . . it's only a matter of time before like minds gather with hate and do serious wrong. And to those of you who sit by and do nothing when you see others being persecuted . . . shame on you. Your life is now . . . your time to speak truth is short. Make your mark in this world by not being a follower, but by being an individual who stands for the common good for all. For Everybody Else! Including Yourself! . . .
