	Drum Solo. This piece I'm using my hands on my 4 piece acoustice kit to create a world/ percussion feel. I'm close micing the kit to capture the overtones of the drum and the pitch bends. I'm letting floor tom ring to add a little bass to piece. Hence the title Hands on the Boom. The boom is the booming/ringing floor tom.

	Story Behind the Song I recorded this piece sometime in the fall of 2001. At that time the only recording device I had was a casset deck. So I mic'd my kit up through our rehearsal p.a. added auto-pan to the snare and first tom and recorded it straight to cassette in one take.
