    Story Behind the Song
Basically, this is the inaugural Synthetik FM song ... and my first official composition in the synthpop genre. I was so jazzed with this song that I let Dan (NukleoN) have a listen ... and he was blown away immediately. We both agreed it would be absolutely cool if he sang vocals on it. So here's the result ...

Subject matter: Science vs. superstition ...

    Lyrics
    Why do so many believe
    So many crazy things
    Tantamount to vague mystery

    Call it intellectual pride
    Or nescient denial
    I just call it make-believe

    All those fabled lies
    And useless mystic charms
    They don't provide
Technology is all we need to find

    Depravity in the rectory
    Don't sacrifice your mind
    To the altar of credulity

    Why do so many plead
To angry angels in the sky
Never there when you need them most

    All those fabled lies
    And useless mystic charms
    They just divide
Technology is all we need to find

    Can you see the future
    Revealed in your cards?
    Do you see my destiny
when you gaze at the stars?

    Pregnant Virgins,
    Statues that weep
    Undermine the madness
    with Technology

Just have faith in what is real
    Then you don't need faith
    Reality will do just fine

    Haunted men lead you astray
As they bow their heads and pray
    I raise mine in disbelief

    All those fabled lies
    And useless mystic charms
    They don't provide
Technology has come to save your life
