#3 ON THE TRAD-JAZZ CHART (09/15/03) Here's an upbeat 1920's vocal number that I whipped together as a present for my Honey Bunny. It also features lots of sax as well as a "Bari-soon-net" solo. This rare instrument belongs to the pseudophone family and is a cross between a Baritone Sax, a Bassoon, and a Bass Clarinet. Check-it out! | MP3.com CD: Freshly Canned! - buy it!

Story Behind the Song
When I was dating the love of my life, I'd often get Bearable (he's one of our teddy bears) to sing this neat little tune to her. As a show of my eternal love, I decided to record this song and offer-it as a present. Since I was never much of a singer, I approached this recording project with some trepidation. In the end, I think the tune turned-out really good (if I do say-so myself).
If you listen carefully, you'll hear a bunch of saxophones in the background and during the solos. All of these parts were played myself, one track at a time.
Also featured in this song is the only time you will ever hear a Bari-soon-net. This instrument is a cross between a bari- sax, a bassoon, and a bass clarinet and belongs to the pseudophone family of wind instruments.
I hope you enjoy this song as much as I did playing-it!
