	Story Behind the Song Written in 1996 and then absent-mindedly forgotten about until 1999. This would probably have been on Blue Peter Comes Alive if I'd remembered about it sooner. Several permutations exist, the rock was tamed a little with this mix to let an accordion come to the fore. Lyrics I stole some laundry from the girl who lives down the hall. I stole some laundry from the washer and the dryer down the hall. There's nothing much in it I can wear; it's mostly lingerie and women's underwear. I don't know what I'll do with it yet, I'll start up a collection I guess. I'd like to have every shape and color. What would she say if she knew exactly what I've been up to. Would she have the landlord evict me? I don't want to go. I stole some laundry from the girl who lives down the hall. We've never been introduced; I wonder what her name is after all?
