Story Behind the Song
What makes one woman more attractive than another? I turned to science to find out! The Point Seven ratio (waist to hips). Finally, an answer that makes sense. I wrote this in 2002 over the course of several months. My lack of any vocal ability made the singing a bit of a horror show - but I like horror shows.
Lyrics
It isn't the golden eyes, it isn't the crazy laugh
It's not that Cheshire smile, it's not that perfect ass.
It's more of a primal thing, a twisted chromosome
It's in the silhouette, genetics, pheromones.
It's not the fine merlot, it's not the French cuisine.
It's not the lights down low, no not this perfect scene.
Beneath this simple game, we find an ancient plan.
All driven to the flame, the woman calls the man.
It's more a bio-snare, a little bit of the evo-plan
point seven flips the switch, become the dancing man.
Chorus (Selena):
And if you look ... you'll find her deep in the code, down at the core, woven inside.
She's really all ... you ever needed to do, something in you, the chemical side.
It's heat, it's heat, it's heat, it's heat.
It's heat (It's more of a primal thing), it's heat (a twisted chromosome), it's heat (It's in the silhouette), it's heat (genetics, pheromones).
It's not the runway walk, it's not the sense of style.
It's not the dirty talk, no, not the wicked child.
It's more of a primal thing, a twisted chromosome
It's in the silhouette, genetics, pheromones.
