    Story Behind the Song
    Josh Rope has studied piano since the age of seven and saxophone since age eleven. He has won many awards and recognition in his hometown in California for both instruments. As well as playing at many conventions in southern California, he took second place (piano) in a concerto competition for Saddleback College in 2000. Rope started composition lessons in his senior year under Dr. Norman Weston of Saddleback College. Currently a music composition major at Indiana University School of Music, he is in three national academic honors societies and is on the dean’s list. Rope studies under Dr. Eugene O'Brien of Indiana University School of Music.
