	Story Behind the Song I always found it ridiculous that people feel the need to put up phony facades in order to blend in and conform. To quote the famous Mike Muir -- "Sometimes I do feel like sh**, but I'd rather feel like sh** than be full of sh**!" Lyrics Sometimes a room gets quiet when I walk in and I'm the only one sane. We all wear thin disguises that show because we cover up our shame...of what we do, of who we know, of how we dress, of who we are. When you say you love someone you don't choose-you either love them or you don't. I tell you it's the same with hate. If I could change my mind I would. You pull me down, wont hear me out, I cannot get through I don't want to be you. I need your sympathy like I need a hole in the head. Don't share your life with me I only want to share your bed. Don't even lay with me unless you're keeping your legs spread. Knee deep in misery and I wish the rain would end. I've spent half my life seeking the perfect thrill. I've found happiness wont come from any pill. I'm not guilty by reason of obscurity, yet still I find myself knee deep in misery.
