One of the best Blues ever written! Written by the Delmore Bros. and played by everyone else. An awesome tune and my first vocal. |

Story Behind the Song
This tune I first heard on a live album of Doc and Merle Watson. A great arrangement! Then a couple years back I did a gig and the guy before me did this in some sort of bluegrass stomp version, it was horrid. Then, I was in Ashland, Kentucky and saw Leo Kottke play this song. Another amazing arrangement. After about 8 or 10 years and about twenty other versions mixed in there I finally came up with a way I could play and sing, and sometimes pull off. There is no compression, reverb or any processing on this take. It was recorded with two condenser mikes and a sunrise pickup... If you listen close you can hear my "fridge" in the background!
