This is my first really 'serious' tune in quite a while - it's a mellow piece, both soundscapey and 'tuneful' featuring some piano and a few guitars. |

Story Behind the Song
Do you like the title? I though of that while reading about the Tyndall Effect (the reason why the sky is blue).
This tune started really life with the opening riff in Bm on the guitar changing to an ever so slightly twisted G7/C# (there's a bit of an altered thing going on there). That eventually resolves itself onto a series of lydian vamps starting on F# - all written on one guitar originally although on the recording I transferred the riff to piano and added a couple of lead guitars. The actual main 'tune' - played in three art harmony in the second 'verse' was the last thing to be written.
So there we are.
All recorded over two days using my trusty Ibanez using Cubase, with Piano, drums and bass all provided by Reason.
