	Story Behind the Song Well you composers know how it is! Someone asks you to 'write them a song'! The person who asked me was an R&B soul lover who had been educated at the Royal Academy of Art, where they studied Fine art. I had the foundations of the first movement very much in my mind and decided to write a one movement concerto. Later I decided to add two more movements to make it into a real concerto. I was very influenced by baroque music in my teens, and the hours I spent with the great masters rubbed off on me.I've always admired the beat and rythm, the agility and form of baroque. Concerto 4 U celebrates the majesty of baroque in a much simpler, yet no less melodic tribute to the long gone, yet still celebrated masters of the genre;still teaching me all I know!
