Story Behind the Song
I dream of Japan alot, which is weird, since I've never been there. I just feel a very strong connection with it. In these dreams I collect alot of interesting,if vague, impressions..sometimes a sound or a bit of music will inspire these impressions to coalesce. Midnight Tokyo, is just such a thing. A myriad of impressions tied into a nice looped package. Thanks go to Acidplanet.com for providing the royalty free loops used in this piece. Inspired by Bill Laswell & Mark Pistel. to hide the truth
which still gleams

the dreamer from the dreams

the splintered musing

just colors and lights
and a smell
