Lyrics
In a morning, bathed in grey, my senses still asleep,
I pulled back the clouds, jumped out of my head, headed for the street.
Something kept me moving, some eerie kind of wind.
My past was passing by again, I was meeting long lost friends.
They didn‘t say a word to me, nor did I to them.
Words didn‘t seem to matter, their smiles were wishing well.
Suddenly the sky was dark, and all was black as ink,
When a light, way up in the distance shone, I lost my power to think.
A wind blew up and carried me to where the light had been,
There I saw my long lost soul, stained with petty sin.
I screamed, „At last I found you. Where in hell you been?“
Threw my arms around my soul and kissed it ‘til it gleamed.
Put it back where it belonged, I had no urge to die.
I was back where I had started from,
With a new found taste for life.
New found taste for life
New found taste for life
