Story Behind the Song
We don’t think any Persian song based on Greek mythology has ever been written before, so we gave it a try. By the way, do Persians and Greeks still not get along? Mom always buys Greek Feta Cheese and father is totally “Vatan Parast” (Patriotic) and they get along fine, so we guess things must be OK. This song started out sooooo pop oriented that everybody on the project really hated it, but little by little as we made changes and adjustments to the arrangements, we started liking it more and more. Let this be a word of encouragement to new artists that even if you start out with a song you don’t like, it’s not the end of the world and could end up being your top hit. For more details, watch VH-1 documentaries, especially on Elvis and the Beatles.

2-The Sea Angel
Your eyes are like the sea, your tears like a waterfall
Your lovely figure is soft and beautiful. Your heart is like a lovely yet turbulent wave
When your voice vibrates, even the fish start to dance.
The day you were not there, the Charybdis the monster took us into the sea amidst the waves and the whirlpool. You rescued us, having heard our screams.
We are grateful to you, our saviour.
Oh Sea Angel, smile at me, don’t let us die without soul and faith.
Oh Sea Angel, come to our home, for us you are the redeemer of joy and intoxication.
