	Story Behind the Song First recorded by my teenage punk band, Artistic Decline. I was reading "No Exit" for some class and "Death of a Salesman" was receiving rave reviews in China. I wanted the song to have a Soviet Rock sound. This version was re-written, but the East Block rock was still strived for in the lead guitar tone and riff. In my hardcore days the lyrics sounded mad. Now they are just sad. Lyrics Yeah, confidence blinds millions But the ones who see don't seem to mind at all Because you asked me to, I knocked down my wall 'Cause you asked me to, I went and changed it all There's no tinting to disguise this state of mind There's no moving with a mask to hide behind All for you I went and changed, now you're gone Now I'm looking for some way to carry on
