	Story Behind the Song Bible scripture is very hard to put to music in most cases. So I was challanged to try it, but with one of the most important passages of scripture there is. The lyrics express the greatst give gift and expression of love there ever was, Jesus. How many people would give there own live for another person much less the life of their only child? The song took about a week to write and arrange it and about 3-4 hours to record it. The band did 3 takes but nailed it in 2. Vanessa nail the lead 1st time out (You go girl!). Background vocals did about 3 takes. Lyrics 1st Verse You've been search'in Trying to fill that void,that lingers within. Like a ship without a sail Another aimless journey begins. In Christ there is purpose You need not live in vain. Come where there's so much more And find new life in Him. Chorus God so loved the world That He gave His only Son.
