	Story Behind the Song This is the last cut off of Rod Laver’s “No Toques El Toro” I think we had the most fun with this song, just because it is such a dichotomy from the rest of their stuff. We used a Belari tube mic pre and an SM58 on Rudy’s vocals in the verses, this is what gave it that distorted sound. Rudy recorded in the control room to the side of me with monitors cranked up to get the feed back you hear throughout the song. With all the lights turned out he just went nuts; we got some good takes, especially the screaming at the end. Also, the string arrangements were written by David Takahashi, he did a great job. It blew us all away what he came up with. It just put this song over the top. -Nacho 4/02
