	Story Behind the Song The story behind Crave?? Well.. It's a song about helpless wanting... Burnin' yearnin'. Maybe even addiction. When ya want something so bad even if it's probably not so good for you but ya gotta have it anyway... Or it could just be a lustful love song. ?? I wrote these riffs on the road in the back of a dirty white van somewhere in Utah.. Or someo ther place Montana? I forgot. We were about to go open for The Queen of Rock (Benatar) and I was writing up a storm. I was makin Chad laugh making up funny lyrics to these riffs.. It use to be called "Renton Slut". About the sessions? Well..... I had a hard time last summer when we were laying vocals and still writing for this new CD. I'd been exploring crazy techniques to get that "honest vocal pass".... The illusive "Magic take". So... I got my head all wrapped around that and psyched out for a while. I even quit singin all together and just got quiet for a few weeks. Suddenly, I had a 'breakthrough'. I sang this song buttneked & that technique has been workin for me ever since. We used the first couple takes for this vocal.
