	My first electronic composition -- composed entirely on a Roland MC-303 Groovebox.
	Story Behind the Song Heartbeats was my first original electronic composition. I wrote this song in Winter of 1998. It was inspired by all the Orbital songs that I was listening to at the time. I wanted to create a layered song that starts out with a single track and grows from there. I also wanted to create a second theme that also builds from a single track but that ends up morphing into the original theme after the build-up. I accomplished both of these goals in this song that was created 100% on my Roland MC-303 Groovebox. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I did composing it!
