A demonstration of power, heart and soul performed by the young austin-based guitarist/vocalist Will Knaak. It has all the elements to rock: solid beat, soulful vocals, rippin' guitar and dynamite dynamics. Give the song a listen, it made a top 10 list at an Austin radio station "KLBJ". |
CD: Knaak Attaak
Label: KnickKnack Records

Story Behind the Song
The song was written by Sheryl Crowe's guitar player, Todd R. Wolfe and given to Will Knaak by ZZ-Top's mgmt company, Lonewolf Management. They once ran Hamstein Music which has now sold all rights to Mosaic Music. The mechanical license is pending, but an agreement has already been made with Mosaic Music to release it for sale. The song was recorded 6 months ago at the Hit Shack in Austin, Texas when Will Knaak was still 16. It was a pretty natural recording session with all the producing being handled by Will Knaak as well.
Lyrics
The first time I saw you I felt I'd known you all my life, Just like you were another part of me, I can't ever remember a time when it all just seemed so right, Take the rest of me you've got the best of me. Ain't ever gonna change my mind, about the way I'm feeling, I mean it. Just take my heart, take my soul, baby don't ever let me go, cause you know that I mean it. Funny how things have a way of working out just right, like I'm some character in someone's master plan, your words complete my thoughts your nights complete my days, take the rest of me you've got the best of me. Ain't ever gonna change my mind about the way I'm feeling I mean it. Just take my heart, take my soul, baby don't ever let me go, cause you know I mean it. Feels like I'm in love for the very first time, Like I can see the forest and the trees, I've never seen so much so clearly, the way I do when you look at me.
