The instrumental piece HERAKLES DUCKS AGAIN (8m22) includes 5 electrics, 3 acoustics and 6 synths. I composed it around 1976 and rearranged it all along the years for various performances with small or big orchestras (more details on my web site).

    Story Behind the Song
Although I played and recorded with various bands, I waited till 1996 to produce the CD inguitarissable jayfm-0148. It contains my own compositions played with two guitars (P.R.S electric and LEVIN W32 acoustic), a first generation ADAT and an old IIcx Macintosh. Because I only had one ADAT, I had to arrange the music very carefully, then make an even more careful planning for which track would record which guitar. It was recognized then as an exploit, given the complexity of the music.

The whole CD inguitarissable was recorded in one month during the Summer of 1996 and is about orchestrating guitars (electric, acoustic and synth). Overlapping guitars always is of the utmost interest to me. I always wanted to play a ten-neck or a sixty-string guitar. The guitar-synth is a step towards this dream. Playing electric guitar allows me to let off steam but I equally like the intimacy that acoustic guitar can help me to attain and share.
