"Living for Fashion" has a New Orderish synths, a busy bassline, and with more minimal guitar work than in other songs. The bridge almost goes into another song
with a more mellow feel & unexpected chord changes, but goes back into the chorus part for the verse.

Story Behind the Song
This was another adventure into the realm of slick-pop. Great synth intro from Philip! Its about being an observer of life in general, devoid of any real passion as if to be a model for what 'living' is like. I am always depressed that I am too concerned with what I wear, how I look, or what I own...I think its about assuming your role as a consumer, being ashamed that you rely so heavily on what you don't need. Being somewhat isolated by this process. The song isn't trying to be preachy, just matter of fact. The ironic edge of this tune is its style and approach...it sounds rather glamourous.
