	Story Behind the Song I had a dream the night before about sitting up amidst an orange hue of clouds; watching the city awaken with a friend of mine at my side. We spoke to eachother of old times, and times to come, embracing eachother's company with a comforting smile. The next day, I was enroute to the studio, upon returning from a rainy day on campus. I wanted to really interpret what I was feeling on the inside, and doing so began with "I Cherish You". I ended up writing two songs for the Yaya Album, the second song, "Innocent", I found to be more of the reflective of what was happening around me. Whereas, "I Cherish You" was reflective of what was happening inside of me. It was a blessing to have such a day take place. Lyrics Why do you choose my life to renew?
