	Story Behind the Song I wrote "Innocent" and "I Cherish You" while on a busride, enroute to the studio. Although I wouldn't suggest writing and scoring the music within such a cramped space of time to anyone, there are vibes where artists present crazy amounts of inspiring work, with little need for thought. Sometimes it just comes out. The two songs presented the work ethic and foundation that introduced Yaya as the album it is today. Each song found its own beginnings from quirky environments and people, and maintained the sense of dedication I intended to obtain for my audience.
