	Story Behind the Song This music was first written after I read a love letter from my husband...but it evolved into the Hail Mary back in about 1980. I've been singing this prayer ever since. The way I want to finish it is with three melodic lines that intertwine by the third Hail Mary...start with one voice, two on the second, three on the third. I'm still working on it. The words of the prayer actually come from Luke's Gospel...the words of the Angel Gabriel and then, of St. Elizabeth. Lyrics Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of our death. Amen
