Story Behind the Song
An original instrumental Jazz Waltz written with love and appreciation for my Mom... This is just simply a lovely tune and wonderful performance that most anyone will enjoy hearing too. I purposely wrote a "sweet" song, but the pedal point during the second phrase of the melody adds that "sassy side" of Mom as well. Mom is one of my heroes and true friends in this life. Over the years, I've found that "heroes" are not always found in the form of famous media celebrities or civic leaders - nor, are they ever "perfect" people. Most of the time they really don't even seem to know that they are heroes. You probably see someone's "Hero" in your mirror every morning...
